High Temperature Alloys
Loukus Tech specializes in the creation of hybrid MMC products with newly developed high temperature alloys. The technology readiness level (TRL) of existing alloys is 5-6. Using in-house equipment and tooling, Loukus Tech brings the new alloys to a TRL of 6.
Billet Casting & Extrusion
In this application, an Mg-Zn-Ce alloy was designed for elongation. The alloy was then billet cast and extruded. Loukus Tech’s materials, process, and product knowledge has been implemented to streamline the design and production of extruded magnesium and aluminum products. Our team works from alloy design to delivery of final machined components.
